In the final pit stop of the race there is no right or wrong answer. Students must read a longer version of the article from Pit Stop 2. This text is presented sentence by sentence, and advanced by pressing the space bar.

After reading (or skimming) the full article, players are asked whether they accept the claim, reject the claim, or decide to withhold judgment until they have more information. They also have to write a short justification for their decision. This can be no longer than 20 words. Students should be reminded that the teacher and their classmates will be able to see their responses. Players will be commenting on each other’s responses in the final stage of the game.
